![]() I try to start my day with a hearty breakfast, whether it be a bowl of Kashi® cereal and fruit or a whole grain bagel and lite cream cheese. I like my breakfast to be quick, something to eat while checking my emails, but not full of empty calories and overly sweet. With a hearty breakfast, I won't feel hungry an hour later and have the need to snack all day long. |
![]() If you're like me, you're not always hungry when you first get up, but you know it's important to get something healthy in your system. On those days, blend up a shake made with a drinkable low fat all-natural yogurt, some frozen blueberries, and some flax oil. The combination of protein, carbs and good fats will go down smoothly and get you going. |

![]() I eat a healthy breakfast EVERY day and I always try to have a backup plan. In case I'm out of milk or yogurt and can't have cereal, I always keep oatmeal or waffles in the house so I'm guaranteed a tasty and healthy breakfast. |
![]() I love cereal and have become hooked on adding fresh fruit (blueberries, raspberries, bananas, even apple) for their delicious flavors and powerful nutrition. ![]() Give yourself something to look forward to! Breakfast is something that I always look forward to, but sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference. I love to buy some fresh yummy berries to put on top of my cereal or waffles. I definitely CAN'T WAIT to get to the kitchen in the morning when I have that to look forward to! |

![]() Remember to Hydrate! Toast to your breakfast with 12–20 ounces of water. Water helps keep things from “clogging up” — know what we’re saying? So keep some water by your side all day, and next to your plate at every meal. And get sipping. |
![]() There are two things that I need before I really feel awake. The first is my morning yoga. Second, is breakfast! My favorite morning meal is, a fresh fruit smoothie with acai and a Kashi® TLC® Granola Bar. Sometimes its GOLEAN® Blueberry waffles with fresh blueberries and honey. When you don’t have time for a bowl of cereal, even a slice of whole grain toast with almond butter or a Kashi granola bar on the go gives your body that kick-start it needs to get going. Not only that, but if you DON'T eat because you're trying to manage your weight, your body will think it's being starved and will go into fat preservation mode. ![]() Keep your favorite breakfast cereals on hand so you are motivated to eat in the morning and keep a "convenient backup" such as granola bars on hand for those days when you have to eat on the run. My stomach doesn't like food too much in the first 30–60 minutes of the morning, so I usually eat at my desk while doing email and vmx to start the day. |
